Everyone lives life and makes memories, in 2018 I vowed one day I would make it affordable to capture them.

During my second pregnancy I set out to find a photographer within the Hudson Valley who could capture maternity photos for me. This would be my third and last pregnancy, moreover it was a rainbow pregnancy that came after a devastating loss. There was nothing I wanted more than to capture the beauty/blessing of being pregnant. Unfortunately I was high risk so driving 2 hours to my photographer in Long Island was not an option. After looking around the hard realization came that all the photographers I wanted to capture my forever shots were way out of my price range. I didn't want my hair and makeup done. I wanted to stand in a field somewhere bathed in natural light, showing the rawness of being pregnant but capturing the glory of my body in what I would say was its best work. Unfortunately I never got maternity photos done. However out of this heartbreak a vow was born and a business would follow almost exactly 5 years later.

Holly Robin Photography came to life during the writers strike of 2023. I found myself with a ton of free time on my hands and if you know me then you'll know I don't do "still". So here I am with a photography business where everyone, regardless of their monetary situation, could come to me and be able to capture those moments in time that only come once in a lifetime.

Capturing life has been a hobby of mine since I was little. I owned my first video camera in 1999 at the age of 14. I have been actively using photoshop and editing systems since taking my first class in 2003. I bought my first DSLR in 2010. Capturing the world around me in some form or another has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. Pictures unlock the innate ability everyone has to time travel. Often times I find myself looking at photos, smiling, crying, laughing, always FEELING the emotions play out in my head all over again from the moment capture on the picture.

Complimenting these hobbies is my ability to connect with anyone and everyone. I love meeting new people, I love talking, and I'd love to connect with you!

When it comes to capturing life I am open and willing to attempt whatever you can throw my way, I am a photographer apart from all the others. I have realized over the years when it comes to photography I specialize in patience, in fun, families, natural shots/emotion and in capturing those who are otherwise thought to be impossible to capture.

So what are you waiting for? You live life, just call me to capture it!
